Mui Ne, located in Vietnam, has evolved from a cape that was traditionally used by fishermen as a place of refuge into a well-liked tourist attraction that is famous for its white beach, turquoise ocean, and plenty of seafood.

Even after all of our visits there, Mui Ne never fails to wow us with its beauty. The following is a selection of the most recommended things to do in Mui Ne, as determined by our staff.

Take a trip to the Mui Ne Sand Hills in the morning and relax there.

If you find yourself in the Mui Ne region, you really have to pay a visit to Bau Trang, sometimes known as Vietnam's "sub-Saharan desert."

The first thing that we did in the morning was go on a jeep tour, and we arrived to the white sand dunes well before daybreak. The setting was quite stunning, and there was a lot of breathing room here.

We decided to go the old-fashioned way and climb up to the overlook, but if you'd prefer explore the area by automobile, 4x4s and jeeps are also available for rent.

To capture the breathtaking sunrise, you should carry a camera of sufficient quality, since this is highly advised.
An expansive sand dune landscape with towering sand dunes creates a magnificent sight.

In the summer, the lake at the foot of the white sand hill is home to the appearance of hundreds of lotus blossoms, each of which is distinct from the others.

Get on the hired motorcycle you have and go on a tour of the area.

Renting a bike is the best way to go about Mui Ne and see all the city has to offer. We like going on unplanned excursions to whatever piques our interest, whether it a beach restaurant, a little café, or a field of dragon fruits. Experiences that go above and beyond the traditional tourist traps may be found in abundance in Mui Ne.

Learn how to kiteboard if you haven't already.

Kiteboarding is a sport that is well suited to the windy coastline of Mui Ne. The several kiteboarding schools in the region provide instruction and rental equipment suitable for riders of varying levels of experience.

Kitesurfing is at its best at Mui Ne during the months of November and March, when the clear sky and strong winds provide the optimal temperature range and wave conditions.

Evening pursuits in the city of Mui Ne. Visit Joe at his café! The music that is played in this quaint little tavern is always of a high caliber, and there is a wide variety of it.

The bar offers a large selection of beers and other drinks at costs that are affordable for most customers.

We appreciated how relaxed the atmosphere was and how warmly we were welcomed, and we found ourselves singing along with the live band quite regularly.

This warm and welcoming drinking spot can be found at 86 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, which is located Ham Tien Mui Ne. Take a stroll along the enchanted stream.

During our jeep tour, we made a stop at Fairy Stream, also known as Suoi Tien, and it was a great deal of fun.

When we arrived at approximately 9 o'clock in the morning, there were already a few small groups of people there.

It was a beautiful way to spend the day, and the view, particularly the sand cliffs that were a variety of colors and the vegetation that ran down the stream, was breathtaking.

The way the water feels on our bare feet is a pleasant experience for us. This section provides a more in-depth description of our trip to Fairy Stream, also known as Suoi Tien.

Try some of the mouthwatering specialties that are served by the numerous vendors that set up shop along the path to Suoi Tien, such as rolls, coconut, baked rice paper, and potatoes that have been cooked in boiling water.

The wild and majestic beauty of the Ke Ga cape, which can be reached from Phan Thiet city in a little over an hour's drive, mesmerizes visitors to the area.

The island is home to a bewildering assortment of rocks that have been arranged to make awe-inspiring structures that are sure to take your breath away.

This region is famous not just for its peculiar rocky beaches but also for the Ke Ga Lighthouse, which is both the oldest and the tallest lighthouse in all of Vietnam.

A one-way ticket on a boat to the island will set you back 50,000 Vietnamese Dong (VND) per person. Pay a visit to the temple of Po Sah Nu.

While you are in Mui Ne, you shouldn't miss the opportunity to go to Po Sah Inu Tower.

The Po Sah Inu Tower is a remnant from the time when the Champa Kingdom was located in what is now Vietnam.

It can be found on top of Ba Nai hill in the Phu Hai ward, roughly 7 kilometers from the center of Phan Thiet city and around 3 kilometers from the center of the Ham Tien Mui Ne tourist area.

Even though it is on a small scale, it manages to capture the essence of the ancient Cham people's architectural and decorative arts, which results in an ambiance that is both vast and mysterious.

One of the Champa towers in Vietnam that has been relatively well kept is the Po Sah Inu temple complex.

Relax on the beaches

Beaches of exceptional natural beauty may be found at Mui Ne. This is the key appeal for the majority of tourists that come to the region.

In addition to having 15 kilometers of sandy beaches, Mui Ne is home to opulent resorts, a fishing village, an extensive selection of restaurants and shops, and more.

Due to the length of the beach as well as the size of the town, there is no need for you to be concerned that the whole beach would be overrun by other tourists.

Swimming, sunbathing, and reading are all great things to do throughout the day, but the ultimate way to conclude the day is with drinks while watching the sunset and a delicious meal.

The highlight of Ta Cu Mountain is undoubtedly the reclining Buddha, but the mountain also has rare species of flora and fauna, limestone caves, and other magnificent examples of Buddhist architecture.

You should be able to make it there in about an hour if you leave from Mui Ne. It's a nice day trip that can be turned into a loop by driving via Ke Ga, so it can even be prolonged.

You may ride a cable car to the summit of the mountain, or you can hike up it. If you choose the first option, you'll find yourself traveling through the forest and stumbling across a number of little temples along the way.

Phan Thiet fish sauce

The Phan Thiet fish sauce is a culinary classic in Vietnam. It is made from fermented and salted anchovies, and the preparation of the sauce requires the highest attention to detail. Because it imparts a distinctive umami flavor to meals, it is an essential condiment that should be present in every kitchen.

It is stated that Phan Thiet, which is situated in the middle of Vietnam, is the area where Vietnamese fish sauce was first created. Over the course of more than three hundred years, the technique of creating Phan Thiet fish sauce has been practiced in this seaside city.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Phan Thiet fish sauce maker Lien Thanh debuted on the scene and quickly gained a great deal of attention.

Since then, the fish sauce that is produced in Phan Thiet has continuously been listed among the top fish sauce brands in Vietnam, and its popularity has expanded to nations in the region.

Anchovies are the primary ingredient in Phan Thiet fish sauce, and either black or silver anchovies are often used due to the fact that they have a flavorful flavor and need a less amount of time to ferment.

Fish sauce manufacturers with experience underline that the quality of their product is also dependent on the season in which the fish were caught. It typically takes place between the months of May and September, when anchovies are at their fullest and provide the richest and most flavorful kind of fish sauce.

The Phan Thiet fish sauce has a hue that is somewhere between yellow and brown, and it has a strong smell. It has a salty flavor at first, but then it finishes with a sweet taste.

It has been included in the Vietnam Record Book as one of the top 10 most famous spice sauces in the country, and as a result, it has become a popular souvenir for travelers to take back with them.
