Mekong Delta Tour 3Days 2Night - Floating Market Tour In Mekong River
Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Chau Doc town ( B/L)
07:00AM depart from the Trust car rental office in SaiGon to Cai Be by air-conditioned bus. Take a boat trip to discover Cai Be floating market with local people selling, buying, exchanging goods from their boats. Going on to riverside village to visit orchard, taste honey tea, see coconut candy and rice paper production process…
Have lunch at local riverside restaurant and enjoy Mekong delta traditional music. Cross the great Mekong river to Vinh Long city by boat and leave for Chau Doc town by bus with Chua Xu Lady temple visiting
Enjoy dinner at local restaurant which is recommended by Trust car rental
Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 2 : Floating fishing village - Tra Su cajuput forest - Can Tho City (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel
6:30AM have breakfast at hotel. Go along river by rowing boat to see floating houses with fish breeding cages, a village of Cham ethnic people, Muslim mosque, towel weaving. Going on to Tra Su cajuput forest which is renowned for not only its almost-untouched natural beauty but also its sanctuary of flora and fauna. Take a boat trip into the forest, you will immediately feel like you are harmonising with nature because of all of the impressive pictures of cajuputs, the fragrance of the flowers and the music-like noise of birds, insects and animals making people relaxed comfortable.
From the observation post, you can overlook the forest with an area of nearly 900 ha, home of many birds and animals, including some rare ones. Have lunch in forest, relax on hammock or experience monkey bridge…Heading to Can Tho city. Check in upon arrival. Having dinner and free time for sightseeing (bus transfer to Ninh Kieu wharf and back hotel). Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 3 : Can Tho - Beautiful Floating Market - Ho Chi Minh city (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel
06:00AM having breakfast at hotel. 07:00AM transfered by bus to the wharf, then boarding a motorboat for sightseeing Cai Rang which is biggest and colourful floating market in Mekong delta. From the early morning, the waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants, foods, etc...
Sellers hang a sample of what they have from the top of a long pole so that buyers can see from a distance what they are selling. Then take motorboat along small leafy creeks to local orchard and enjoy tropical seasonal fruits. Around 10:30 come back to hotel, have free time for sightseeing or cycling around. 12:00 check out and have lunch.
Going back to Sai Gon with a stop-over at Mekong restop for Lunch
