The town is home to some 88,000 people, and even though it is small, it attracts many tourists. It was also, being a well-established place on the backpacker trail.

Many visit the numerous art and craft shops and tailors, who produce made-to-measure clothes for a fraction of what they would cost in the West.

You will visit Hoi An, an ancient town with its fantastic fusion of Chinese, Dutch, Japanese, and Portuguese cultures. Start with the symbol of Hoian, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the finest example of Japanese architecture remaining.

Myson Holyland was the Hindu center of Champa Kingdom between the 4th and 14th centuries. This site is set in the jungle about 55km from Hoi An and is the most important remains of the ancient kingdom of Champa and is also a Unesco World Heritage site.

My Son Sanctuary is a significant religious relic complex comprising more than 70 architectural works. My Son is considered to be Champa's counterpart to the grand cities of southeast Asia's other Indian-influenced civilizations: Angkor (Cambodia), Bagan (Myanmar), Aythaya (Thailand), and Borobudur (Java).

Cham Pa Museum was constructed in the ancient Cham Pa architecture style with many blocks of white buildings decorated with simple and elegant patterns.

After decades, the past influence of the Cham Pa dynasty on Vietnam's central regions is still prominent. We often encounter the famous historical sites of Cham Pa.

However, the Cham Pa Museum in Da Nang City makes it much easier to learn about this mysterious yet fascinating ancient culture without visiting several regional locations.

-The Reunification Palace: This is one of the most important buildings in the city. On April 30, 1975, what the Vietnamese refer to as the "American War" officially ended when tank number 843 of the North Vietnamese Army crashed through the gates of what was, at the time, the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam.

- War Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this is a poignant display of the futility of war. Some black and white photography in the "Requiem" exhibit is particularly touching, dedicated to foreign and Vietnamese journalists and photographers who perished during the conflict. The production includes the last shots these photographers had taken before their deaths.

- Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and 1883, this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Remarkably, every stone used in its creation was shipped from France to Vietnam.

- Visit the villages of Vietnam war victims

- Cho Lon, including the Thien Hau Pagoda: Cholon means Big Market – a claim well justified as Vietnam's largest market, the Binh Tay, is located here. The district is home to the city's 400,000 Chinese and has many beautiful temples and pagodas.

Day 11: Can Tho City - Chau Doc Town

Breakfast at the hotel and check out

On this day, you will visit the biggest floating market and the daily active life of the Mekong River's locals.

During the early morning market hours, larger-sized boats anchor and create lanes that smaller boats weave in and out of.

The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with mangoes, bananas, papaya, pineapple, and even smuggled goods like cigarettes. Sellers do not have to cry out about their interests because their interests can be seen in a distance, and their cries would not be heard in the vastness of the river and the noise of boat engines.

Small boats that sell beer, wine, and soft drinks go among the other boats to serve market-goers and visitors.

Each boat is loaded with plenty of seasonal goods. Activities at the market are also an occasion for tourists to study the cultural aspects of Southerners.

You can see the market in the distance; it does not look like much, just a mass of boats. The boats display their wares on a mast so you can see what they have available.
